Everyone knows that it’s more fun to travel with a group. If it’s not a group of your own friends, then you’ll have a chance to meet some new friends and share stories with some people who might end up being lifelong friends or even travel companions on future excursions. And if it’s a group of your own friends, then it’s a chance to catch up on old times and share your fun with some old friends.

In addition to the aforementioned, there are plenty of other reasons to take package tours with a group:
• It’s Environmentally-Friendly: Traveling with a large group has been estimated to be 20 times more friendly than traveling on your own or in a small group as it takes many additional vehicles off of the road. This makes your adventure not only fun, but also turns it into an eco-friendly sightseeing tour that helps the environment, too.

• You’ll Get To See Sites: Taking all-inclusive sightseeing tours in a group allows you to sit back and enjoy the sites while someone else handles everything from driving to hotel arrangements and more. Sit back with your group and enjoy some casual conversation or watch as some of the most beautiful scenery in the world passes just outside your window.

• You’ll Learn More: Traveling with a group allows you to soak up the knowledge of a specialized guide who’ll know a ton of interesting information about your destination. They’ll arrange meetings and discussions and have suggestions about any additional activities you might be interested in.

• You’ll Save: Most hotels will offer group discounts that will apply to the group you’re traveling with meaning you’ll be saving money on your lodging. In addition, if you book with a group, you may be eligible for group discounts meaning you’ll be saving money with the initial booking as well. You’ll also have special opportunities at any attractions you might be interested in giving you discounts on admissions and more should these be a part of your adventure.

• Don’t Worry About Food: Some of us have dietary restrictions to take into consideration when traveling. Booking with a group can help solve this issue as your sightseeing tour guide will take care of special arrangements for you by contacting the restaurant(s) ahead of time to make sure your needs are met, giving you one less thing to worry about when you take your tour.
As you can see, in addition to the special discounts you’ll be receiving by traveling with a group, there are plenty of other reasons to travel with a group for your next package tour. Make sure to book with Tours4Fun for the best vacation you’ve ever had!

For quite a while, Osaka was not only the capital of Japan from a cultural standpoint, but it was also considered to be the commercial center of Japan. In fact, it wasn’t until the 1920s that Osaka began to relinquish this title, giving it up to Tokyo after World War II. With more than 2.5 million residents, Osaka is the third-largest city in Japan (behind Tokyo and Yokohama). In fact, if you take into consideration the outside areas of the city, this population rises to 10.5 million people making it the 13th-largest city in the world and a central hub of entertainment and activity for anyone lucky enough to visit this historic city by taking a tour of Osaka. Check out some historic facts about this amazing city below:

Human skeletons, sea oysters and shell mounds have been found in the Osaka region dating back to the 5th-6th century BC. A large concentration of tomb mounds found in the era show that Osaka was a huge concentration of population in this time range.
The ratio of population of Osaka between daytime and nighttime is 141%, the highest in Japan, highlighting its status as an economic center.
In 645, Emperor Kotoku built his palace in Osaka, making it the capital of Japan. At this time, the city was called Naniwa, a name that is still in use for districts in central Osaka such as Naniwa.
In 1496, the Jodo Shinshu Buddhist sect set up their headquarters in the heavily fortified Ishiyama Hongan-ji on the site of the old Naniwa imperial palace. Later in 1570, Oda Nobunaga started a siege of the temple. A decade later, the monks surrendered it and the temple was razed. Toyotomi Hideyoshi constructed Osaka Castle was built in its place.
In 1837, Oshio Heihachiro, a low-ranking samurai, led a peasant insurrection to protest the city’s treatment of its lower class. Around 25% of the city was razed before shogunal officials put down the rebellion. Oshio killed himself shortly thereafter.
“Osaka” mean “large hill” or “large slope” and dates back to 1496 text.
The area of Osaka includes ten smaller cities and is known collectively as the Osaka Prefecture.
Osaka has nine sister cities including San Francisco, Chicago and Shanghai.

The rich history that can be viewed on tours of Osaka and the economic importance of this city makes this an ideal place to visit. Sightseeing tours of Osaka are extremely popular to anyone wanting to take a glimpse at the importance of this city to the entire country of Japan. Make sure to book your sightseeing tour of Osaka with AsiaImpressions today!

The glitz, the glamour, the chance to strike it rich and the opportunity to basically do anything you want (within reason, of course) are among the many reasons that people flock to Sin City to tour Las Vegas. But of course, there are an endless number of reasons to book a sightseeing tour of Las Vegas. Whether you want to blow off some steam, enjoy the excitement of being in America’s Playground or any other reason, booking a Las Vegas tour is one of the best trips you can take. Check out some of our favorite casinos to visit the next time you’re ready to take the plunge and hit Sin City!

The MGM Grand: Located on the Tropicana – Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, the MGM Grand opened as The Marina Hotel in 1975 as a 714 room hotel and casino. On October 7, 1991, ground was broken to expand the hotel into what is now the MGM. Now, the hotel has 6,852 rooms and the gaming space takes up 171,500 square feet.

The Bellagio Hotel and Casino: With one of the most beautiful fountains anywhere that features water that “dances” to popular tunes from all genres, the Bellagio is famous for its elegance including more than 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers that make up Dale Chihuly’s Fiori di Como that covers 2,000 square feet of the lobby ceiling. The Bellagio boasts 3,933 rooms and opened on October 15, 1998.

Caesar’s Palace: With 3,348 rooms, Caesar’s Palace opened on August 5, 1966, and has since been a fixture on The Strip as one of the most popular destinations for tourists from all over to visit. It’s been home to many of the most famous events in the history of Las Vegas including Evil Kneivel’s unsuccessful leap over the casino’s fountain on December 31, 1967 with his motorcycle to the performances of Frank Sinatra and other Rat Pack members, Caesar’s Palace is a fantastic casino to visit.

Paris Las Vegas: Featuring French cuisine and themes throughout the entire casino, this 2,915 room casino opened on September 1, 1999, and is home to some our favorite Las Vegas shows held in its 1,200-seat theatre called Le Theatre des Arts, Paris Las Vegas is one of our favorite casinos to visit in Las Vegas.

Making your way to Nevada for a Las Vegas tour is a great way for anyone to spend a vacation. Enjoy the trip of a lifetime and tour Las Vegas with Tours4Fun for the best vacation you’ve ever had!

Every traveler is different. Some people enjoy taking a vacation where they go to a place of interest and just sort of wing it. They don’t know what they’re going to do when they get there, but once there, they manage to find some of the most interesting things to do. And of course when they get back home, they have the most interesting stories to tell all of their friends and family about their latest excursion – we’re guessing you have a friend that first this description, too. Still, others find package tours a little convenient in that they have a set schedule and travelers know exactly what to expect and prepare for when booking one of these sightseeing tours. Here are some other reasons that this type of sightseeing tour is sometimes a more appealing option for travelers:

Save Money – Taking a trip on your own involves several different components. First, you have to arrange any sort of travel to your destination. Then, you have to pay for everything piecemeal. Your hotel, travel arrangements, meals, activities and so forth will have to be paid for separately. When you book a sightseeing package tour, most of these will be paid for within the cost of the tour you book.

Arrangements – In addition to the money you’ll be saving, you’ll also be able to rest a little easier knowing that you won’t have to plan out your trip. On most sightseeing tours, your itinerary will be set, so you’ll know where you’ll be and what you’ll be doing from day-to-day. This will come in handy when trying to determine weather, details and interesting facts about the places you’ll be visiting beforehand and so forth.

Comfort – Taking a sightseeing city tour by yourself could involve hailing and catching a cab or catching a bus or some other form of transportation to get you from whatever destination you’ve planned on going to. With a package tour, you simply board a comfortable, air conditioned bus and let the driver take you to the next stop on your tour. This makes for a vacation you can relax on and not have to stress out about.

While we all have preferred methods for taking a vacation, booking package tours are a great way to eliminate some of the stress you might otherwise encounter when taking your next tour. Peruse some of the great locations on Tours4Fun to book your next tour with us and save money and stress and prepare yourself for the best tour you’ve ever had!

Are you going to take a vacation this year or a “staycation”? That’s a question that many travelers are asking as economic concerns and an unstable world are causing more and more tourists to look to destinations in their own countries for vacations and tours this year. The “staycationers” have increased the numbers at local tourist attractions like Niagara Falls, Yellowstone National Park, and the Grand Canyon. There are also a lot more US citizens visiting their capitol and taking that Washington DC tour for the first time.

“Staycationing” isn’t limited to just the United States. European tours are seeing an increase in local traffic, particularly for the major cities like Paris, London, Rome and Amsterdam. Many of these tourists are local residents so hotel vacancy rates are still down. Airlines are also seeing a lot of empty seats. This is creating an opportunity for travel agencies to put together more affordable tour packages for those who want to travel abroad. You can staycation at home if you like, but there’s never been a better time to travel abroad.

On August 24 the White House was burned down by an invading foreign army. August 24, 1814, that is. The British army, led by General Ross, walked into Washington DC without a fight and burned down not only the White House, but much of the city around it. Did you know that? You can learn all about it on a Washington DC tour this month. August has historically been a happening month in the nations capital city and you could be a part of events going on down there this year. The President just celebrated his 49th birthday. Did you catch it?

The enactment of income tax (August 5, 1861), the passing of the 19th amendment (August 18, 1920), Civil Rights Act (August 29, 1957) and Martin Luther Kings “I Have Dream” speech (August 28, 1963) have all happened in Washington DC in August and Washington DC tour guides will be talking all about them and their impact on American and world history this month. If you haven’t been there this is a great time to go. Traveling around in Washington DC is easier in August because a good portion of the government is on vacation. You might get lucky though and actually be there when something historical happens. August has been known for that in the past.

Yellowstone National Park has made the top five list for most visited national parks in America. 2,870,295 people visited last year. Numbers one through three were Great Smoky Mountains (9,289,215), Grand Canyon (4,279,439) and Yosemite (3,242,644). Olympic National Park came in fifth with 2,749,197 visitors. Yellowstone tours, entering their ninety fourth year of operation, seem to be increasing in popularity. More Americans are staying closer to home for their vacations and the number of those touring Yellowstone is expected to be over three million this year.

Yellowstone is considered the flagship of America’s national parks system and is coming up on their one hundredth anniversary in 2016. Already a leader in recyclable energy, Yellowstone has recently begun a campaign initiated by one of their food vendors to recycle cooking oil into burnable fuel. Xanterra, the food concession that provides sustenance for 22,000 people a day and uses 11,000 gallons of cooking oil a year, will be recycling that oil and using it to replace diesel fuel at the park, making Yellowstone tours the greenest of experiences in the national parks system. If you’re interested in touring Yellowstone, look into their fee-free weekend which is coming up on August 15 and 16.

If you love the whole tourist scene where you get to deal with large crowds, lines, and high prices, go to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is, by far, the more popular and populous end of the mighty chasm. If you’re looking for something quieter, a communal with nature and an opportunity to see the entire Canyon from its highest point, take your Grand Canyon tour or vacation on the North Rim. You can stay at the famous Grand Canyon Lodge, walk the North Kaibab Trail, and take in a view of multiple states from Point Imperial, 8,803 feet above sea level.

The North Rim is 1300 feet higher than the South Rim so the temperatures are a little chillier, but its well worth it. It’s more remote and there aren’t any chain hotels or restaurants, just one cafe and a general store. Staying there for any length of time is living life the way it once was, back in the Old West. You can even take a tour Grand Canyon by mule or horse-back to enhance the effect. If you’re looking for a Grand Canyon vacation or tour that will show you the full beauty, majesty, and dangers of the Grand Canyon then you definitely want to try the North Rim.
